Semantic Health
Hassan is a technology entrepreneur with a track record of commercializing deep-tech projects into successful businesses. Most recently, he was a Co-founder of CryptNumerics, a data privacy and machine learning venture-backed startup. It was acquired by Snowflake in July 2020. He is currently a leader in Snowflake’s data marketplace team, where he serves as Global Lead of Product Partnerships for Healthcare and Software vertical. Additionally, he is Board Chair at Semantic Health, a venture-backed healthcare startup, and an Investment Partner at Community Fund. In addition to his professional engagements he is involved in the community as advisory member of Century Initiative, mentor at various Canadian & Pakistani incubators, and with the Muslim community in North America through MAX and Muslim Urban Professionals. He holds a BSc in Physics and Economics from University of British Columbia where he was an International Scholar.
